My Journey

I've been coding since I was 15 years old, diving deep into the world of software development with passion and curiosity. What started as a fascination with technology quickly evolved into a lifelong commitment to building meaningful tools that make a real difference.

But here's the thing - I don't see coding as something purely analytical or mechanical. To me, code is art. Like a painting, a codebase is never truly finished. There's always another brushstroke to add, another detail to refine, another way to express the same idea more beautifully. Every function, every component, every line is a creative decision - a blend of logic and intuition, structure and spontaneity.

The Intersection of Tech & Psychology

Beyond code, I've always been deeply fascinated by psychology and the complexity of the human mind. I believe that understanding how people think, feel, and experience emotions is just as important as understanding algorithms and data structures.

This unique combination of interests led me to realize that most mood tracking apps were built by people who had never experienced the full spectrum of human emotions. They simplified complex feelings into simple 1-10 scales, completely missing the nuance of what it's like to feel anxious AND excited, depressed AND restless, or multiple shifting emotions throughout a single day.

That's why I created PsycheMap - a mood tracker designed specifically for people with complex emotional experiences.

Why PsycheMap?

PsycheMap was born from a deeply personal need. I wanted a tool that truly understood that you can feel multiple emotions at once, each with different intensities. A tool that didn't judge, didn't oversimplify, and didn't make you feel inadequate for experiencing complex emotional states.

This isn't just another productivity app or wellness trend. This is a tool built for real people experiencing real emotions - especially those of us living with bipolar disorder, BPD, anxiety, depression, or simply the beautiful chaos of being human.

Every feature in PsycheMap - from tracking multiple emotions simultaneously to the gentle animations that calm instead of overwhelm - is carefully designed with empathy, understanding, and real psychological insight.
