🎨 Color Filtering in Charts
Your emotional landscape now has a color palette. Filter your intensity chart by color groups to see patterns you might have missed.
Toggle between viewing specific emotions or color averages - because sometimes you need to see the forest, not just the trees.
The Science Behind the Colors
Here's the wild part: this works because you're already doing it.
When we gave you a color picker and set it free, we discovered you were all secretly following the same unwritten rules. Without any guidance, you started painting your emotional world with a remarkably consistent palette.
- 🟠 The "Caution" Cluster: Anxious, Frustrated, Overwhelmed
- 🔴 The "Fire" Group: Anger, Rage, Irritation
- 🔵 The "Depth" Collection: Sad, Melancholy, Calm, Peaceful
- 🟣 The "Intensity" Spectrum: Excited, Joyful, Euphoric
This isn't a coincidence. It's how your brain is wired. You unconsciously group related feelings under the same color banner. It's a visual shorthand your mind creates to navigate the complexity.
Now, with color filtering, you can analyze those unconscious groupings directly. See if your "orange" warning-light feelings spike on Sundays. Track whether your "blue" depth days are more about sorrow or serenity. It's a powerful way to decode the silent language your brain is already speaking.
📈 Smarter Default Views
Charts now default to 7 days instead of 30. Less scrolling, more relevant data right when you open the app.
🕸️ Better Emotion Networks
The network graph now includes your custom emotions and has smarter positioning. See how your feelings actually connect in ways that make visual sense.
📅 Include Empty Days Option
Added a toggle to show/hide days without entries in the intensity chart. Sometimes you need to see the gaps to understand the patterns.
